CANCELLED SADLY

Unfortunately the weather forecast for our rescheduled Taiari Wai River festival is now even worse than last time when we postponed. We don't really have a suitable alternative venue to hold the kind of outdoor festival we want to run, therefore we have no choice but to cancel the event for 2026. We'll try again next year. Thanks so much to our sponsors, our supporters, crew, vendors and volunteers everyone for your patience and support. Apologies for the inconvenience this causes anyone. See you next year!

Adam Hattaway
and the Haunters

Based in ÅŒtautahi/Christchurch, Adam Hattaway (The Eastern, Wurld Series) has been building a reputation in the world of alt-rock n roll. With sweltering hooks and raw emotional narrative, their sound says “put your arm around the one you love and remember that they won’t be there forever – but maybe that’s a good thing.’’

Just Janie

Just Janie is emerging as a compelling new voice in Aotearoa Indie Folk. Born and raised in Central Otago, Just Janie grew up writing songs tucked beneath the Hawkdun Ranges. With her EP ‘Muse and Musician’surpassing a million streams, she earned praise from The Spinoff (NZ), observing:“If you find yourself on a hike this weekend… daydreaming about Laurel Canyon, it might be the perfect time for Just Janie’s Muse and Musician.”
